From the prestigious terroir of Aloxe-Corton, this Pinot Noir thrives on clay-limestone soils halfway up the slope, on the border between Ladoix-Serrigny and Aloxe-Corton. This terroir gives the wine a generous structure, a beautiful aromatic complexity, and remarkable aging potential.

The grapes are carefully handpicked, then fully destemmed. After a cold pre-fermentation maceration of 2 to 3 days, the fermentation takes place in concrete tanks for 15 to 20 days with gentle pump-overs and punch-downs. The aging process lasts for 12 months in French oak barrels, including some new wood, to provide structure while preserving the purity of the fruit.

• Nose: rich and expressive, marked by aromas of ripe red fruits, licorice, and sweet spices.
• Palate: full-bodied and structured, with assertive yet silky tannins. The finish is long, elegant, and promising.
