Domaine Minuty

Domaine Minuty

The story of the legend of Domaine Minuty is first and foremost that of a family saga, that of the Marton-Farnet family. Château Minuty was built under Napoleon III but its prestige was born in the 1980s with the purchase of the castle by Gabriel Farnet. He embarked on a vast replanting program, favouring the grape varieties best suited to Provence and the desired wine styles (hello Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle). The first recognition took place in 1955, the year in which Domaine Minuty was recognized as one of the 55 classified growths of the Côtes de Provence. The descendants of Mr. Farnet have since continued to establish the prestigious and high-end identity of Minuty rosés, they being present on all the most beautiful gastronomic tables in France and around the world. Beyond this family work, the vineyard is in fact perfectly exposed on the slopes of Ramatuelle and Gassin, overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Southern grape varieties are of course in the spotlight, and in particular Grenache "the king grape variety of Rosé". The vineyard is managed in sustainable agriculture with tillage, without pesticides or herbicides. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. Respectful work in the vineyard complements high-precision work in the winery. These magnums of Domaine Château Minuty come directly from the Domaine.
