Domaine Weinbach

Domaine Weinbach

For many years, Domaine Weinbach has been one of the most famous estates in Alsace, alongside Trimbach, Zind-Humbrecht, Albert Boxler and Marcel Deiss...

At the foot of the magnificent Schlossberg hill (grand cru) was established in 1612 the domaine weinbach, originally created by the Capuchin monks. They then gave the name of the "Clos des Capucins" to the 5ha surrounding the estate. In 1898, the Faller family bought the estate and over the years made it a jewel of the Alsatian wine landscape. Nowadays, the estate is still in the firmament thanks to Colette Faller and her daughters Catherine and Laurence.

The 30ha vines extend over 4 Grand Cru plots: Schlossberg, Furstentum, Mambourg and Marckrain. The wines are vinified and aged in accordance with the noble Alsatian traditions, a marvel of aromatic purity, depth, structure, all with an incredible aging capacity.
