Champagne De Sousa

Champagne De Sousa

The De Sousa family has been established in the prestigious Côte des Blancs for 3 generations.
They cultivate the most beautiful Grand Cru classified terroirs such as Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Mesnil/Oger.
On these chalky soils, patriarch Erick de Sousa chose to work in organic farming in 1999, obtaining organic certification in 2010 and biodynamic certification in 2013. At De Sousa, there is a perfect symbiosis between these highly qualitative terroirs, a vineyard consisting mainly of old vines over 50 years old, and these environmentally friendly organic practices. In the cellar, the family puts its mark on the blends through careful aging in oak barrels. The De Sousa champagnes here have a lot of sap, elegance, and underlying minerality, all refined and complexified by this subtle aging. The magnums of champagne from the De Sousa family available on this site are directly from the estate.
