Domaine Chandon de Briailles

Domaine Chandon de Briailles

The Domaine Chandon de Briailles, although established in Savigny les Beaune since 1834, has been gaining recognition in the past decade thanks to the work of Francois de Nicolai and his sister Claude.
It's a blessing considering the exceptional vineyard of the Domaine, which covers 14 hectares including five grand crus. Here, two key words prevail: biodynamics and respect for living organisms.
The soils are tilled with horses, the use of treatments (sulfur and copper) is very limited, the grapes are vinified whole without intervention, and aging is done in oak barrels for at least 12 months (no new barrels).
The wines are remarkable for their finesse and incomparable mouthfeel. A must-try wine if you want to rediscover the essence of Burgundian Pinot Noir.
All magnums from Domaine Chandon de Briailles offered on this site come directly from the estate.
