The Domaine Chandon de Briailles, although established in Savigny les Beaune since 1834, has been bursting into the light for about ten years thanks to the work of Francois de Nicolai and his sister Claude.
A godsend when you know the exceptional plot of land of the Domaine which spreads over 14ha including five grands crus. Here are two key words: biodynamics and respect for the living.
The soils are worked with horses, the use of treatment (sulfur and copper) is very limited, the grapes are vinified whole without intervention and aging is done in oak barrels for at least 12 months (no new barrel).
The wines are admirable in their finesse and the mouths incomparable. An essential wine if you want to rediscover the essence of Burgundy Pinot Noir.
All the magnums of the Domaine Chandon de Briailles offered on this site are directly from the domain.
