Domaine Marthe Henry

Marthe Henry is a winemaker and wine producer based in Meursault, after a first career in journalism. Marthe is the granddaughter of Pierre Boillot, a well-known figure in Meursault from the beginning of his winemaking career in the 1940s until his death in 2004. Although Marthe Henry's parents were not winemakers, her family background, her connection to her grandfather, and her passion for wine led her to embrace this path in 2013.

She then settled in Meursault, trained at the viticultural school, and learned from her friends Pierre-Henri Rougeot and Jean-Yves Devevey. With these experiences, she embarked on a high-quality micro-negociant business before being able to take over some family vineyards in 2023. Advocating for a minimalist style by minimizing interventions, her wines spend a minimum of 18 months in oak barrels, without racking or added sulfur. The red wines are vinified with a portion of whole clusters.

From her first vintages, Marthe Henry demonstrates her talent by producing wines of great harmony. A talent worth discovering despite the limited quantities produced!
