Château Puech-Haut

Château Puech-Haut

The history of Château Puech-Haut is intimately linked to that of its founder, Gérard Bru. A man who, after a successful industrial career, decided to leave everything behind to reconnect with his roots: the lands of Languedoc. This region in the south of France already held a lot of history for Gérard. It was on these lands that he was introduced to winemaking by his grandfather. And it was also here that his father worked as the steward of the National Higher School of Agronomy in Montpellier. So, on what was then just scrubland and wild olive groves, he built his dream. Starting from a raw plot of land, he knew how to elevate what the earth had to offer. Nestled between the shores of the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Cévennes, the estate spans over one hundred and fifty hectares. The château was built on solid foundations: an ideal climate, passionate individuals, and land covered with rolled pebbles. Through the wine, it is also personalities and the richness of an entire terroir that are expressed and shared. Thus, the wines of Château Puech-Haut are all steeped in history and possess a unique identity with a strong character. The priority of the vineyard team at the estate is to do everything possible to obtain Organic Certification.
