Domaine Jean-Claude Bachelet is a family and historic estate in Saint-Aubin, popular with everyone. And for good reason, this estate produces the most sparkling and vibrant white wines of the south of the Côte de Beaune. The heart of the Domaine is in Saint-Aubin, but it also includes very beautiful plots on Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, to which is added a magnificent micro-plot in grand cru of Bienvenues Batard Montrachet.
The patriarch of the estate and a cult winemaker of Saint-Aubin, Jean-Claude Bachelet, died in 2019. His sons Jean-Baptiste and Benoit took over the estate with a master hand, placing the estate among the most famous on the Côte de Beaune. The estate now comprises 10ha, all cultivated biodynamically for the benefit of a magnificent vineyard of very old vines, some planted in 1927. The wines are aged over a long period, on average 18 months. A jewel of Burgundy wine!
