For 4 generations, the Agrapart estate has been a grower-producer (no grape buying) in Avize in the Côte des Blancs region.
A vineyard of 12 hectares, including 9.5 hectares of Chardonnay in Avize, Oger, Cramant, and Oiry - Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs. Pascal Agrapart sculpts the facets of the same diamond with crystalline wines that define its state.
His tools are presses, tanks, and barrels with which he tells a story that evokes magical plots.
A master's work that stands out from a Champagne tradition focused on blended wines. Pascal is indeed one of the pioneers in understanding soils and exposures.
He stopped using herbicides very early on. For him, having living soils is essential. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous and the choice of aging clearly favors oak barrels.
