Jean-Yves Millaire's wine adventure began in the 50s with the purchase of parcels of vines by Jean Garnier, Jean-Yves' grandfather. It was in 1998 that Jean-Yves took charge of the family estate with his wife Christine. Today the estate consists of 47ha of vines spread over 3 appellations: AOP Canon Fronsac, AOP Fronsac, AOP Bordeaux. The vines that are on average about forty years old are cultivated biodynamically, on clay-limestone plateaus. The wines display a lot of greed, freshness and drinkability.
