Jean-Yves Millaire's wine adventure began in the 1950s with the purchase of vineyard plots by Jean Garnier, Jean-Yves's grandfather. In 1998, Jean-Yves took over the family estate with his wife Christine. Today, the estate consists of 47 hectares of vineyards spread over 3 appellations: AOP Canon Fronsac, AOP Fronsac, AOP Bordeaux. The vines, with an average age of around forty years, are cultivated biodynamically on clay-limestone plateaus. The wines display a lot of appeal, freshness, and drinkability.
