Château Palmer

Château Palmer

Château Palmer is a third growth classified growth of Margaux whose reputation is well established. If Palmer is internationally recognized, it is largely due to Charles Palmer, a British army officer who purchased the château in 1843 and undertook extensive renovations. Palmer is now owned by two Bordeaux families with long-standing roots in the Bordeaux great growths: the Mahler-Besse and the Sichel. These families spare no effort to perpetuate the Palmer myth. A Margaux that is all velvet and eloquence, with a high proportion of Merlot. It should be noted that the wines have been certified organic since 2018, a feat for this 66-hectare vineyard entirely dedicated to very high quality.
