Armagnac Dartigalongue

Armagnac Dartigalongue

The Dartigalongue house is one of the iconic houses inseparable from the tradition of Armagnac in the southwest of France. It is also one of the most historical since the family has been producing Bas-Armagnacs in Nogaro since 1838. The magic of the house lies in its fantastic collection of vintage Bas-Armagnacs, religiously preserved in the family's cellars; nowadays, this paradise dates back to 1848!

The cornerstone of the family's work is the meticulous selection of the eaux-de-vie, all produced from three white grape varieties: Baco 22A, Ugni Blanc, and Folle Blanche. The distillation is traditional, in a still. All the oak barrels, an essential container for imparting an aromatic "touch" to the eaux-de-vie, are locally sourced from the Gascogne forest. Traditions firmly maintained in service of a fascinating savoir-faire.
