Domaine Jean-Marc Roulot

Domaine Jean-Marc Roulot

Following the sudden death of his father Guy in 1982, Jean-Marc Roulot decided to answer the call of the vineyard and the family estate in Meursault in 1989. The roots of the Domaine Jean Marc Roulot are very old: Jean-Marc's paternal ancestors have had ties to wine since the 1820s, while his mother, Geneviève Coche, is the cousin of the renowned Jean-François Coche-Dury. Many changes were initiated by Jean-Marc Roulot: conversion to organic farming, expansion of the estate, and a change in wine style, more refined and precise... which after about a decade reveal all their tension and minerality. Destined for a career in acting and playwriting before turning to the lights of Meursault, Jean-Marc Roulot is an artist and offers "author wines". Over the course of 30 years, the work in the vineyards and cellar has produced iconic Meursault wines.
