Founded in Mareuil sur Ay in 1818 thanks to the union of Nicolas Francois Billecart with Elisabeth Salmon, La Maison de Champagne Billecart Salmon is above all an exceptional story based on a family dedicated to developing a qualitative and haute couture approach. For 200 years, everything has been done to deliver unique and singular vintages. This is the case of the Clos Saint-Hilaire, an exceptional plot planted in Pinot Noir and cultivated as a garden (6500 btles max / year). Around this mythical place, the family has developed an exceptional plot of land to maintain its independence. This approach has long been accompanied by constant research in winemaking.
