Vodka has been consumed since the 15th century in Eastern European countries. In 1930, after the democratization of the still, it joined the table and was considered as a "wine". Vodka is made by distilling fermented mash, made from cereals (wheat, corn, barley, rye...), sugar beet molasses, potatoes but also other agricultural raw materials. Rising to 96%, the alcohol content of Vodka is lowered to 35 and 50% by adding spring water. A vodka must have a minimum alcohol content of 37.5%.
