Domaine Germain

Domaine Germain

The Domaine Germain is a true family institution founded in 1955 by Bernard Germain. Located mainly in Saint-Romain, the estate has gradually expanded its vineyards to renowned terroirs such as Pommard, Beaune, and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, now covering 6 hectares of vines. Initially, the production was mainly sold in bulk, but with the arrival of his son Patrick in 1976, the estate evolved towards bottling and wider commercialization.

Under the leadership of Arnaud Germain, grandson of Bernard, the estate continued to grow with the creation of Maison Arnaud Germain, expanding the range with prestigious appellations such as Meursault, Volnay, Chambolle-Musigny, and Puligny-Montrachet. Today, the wines of Domaine Germain are distributed nationally and internationally, in restaurants and wine shops.

Committed to environmentally friendly viticulture, the estate practices sustainable farming and manual weeding. Modern methods of vineyard work and winemaking allow for the production of high-quality wines, while ensuring an excellent value for money. The estate is proud of its Burgundian roots, combining tradition and modernity, and of having signed the charter of Independent Winemakers, guaranteeing diversity of terroirs and authentic know-how.

Whether for red wines or white wines, the winemaking remains meticulous and traditional, from manual harvesting to bottling, ensuring meticulous attention at each stage to reveal the full potential of each terroir.
