Domaine Grand - The pure and vibrant expression of the Jura

Established in Passenans since 1692, Domaine Grand now embodies the new generation of committed and demanding winemakers in the Jura region. Taken over in 2015 by Emmanuel and Nathalie Grand, the family estate embarked on an ambitious shift towards organic viticulture and a rigorous selection of its terroirs. The vineyard covers around twenty hectares spread across several emblematic communes in the Jura, including rare plots in Château-Chalon.

Artisanal and respectful viticulture

Domaine Grand is certified in organic agriculture and emphasizes careful vineyard work, meticulous manual harvesting, and a minimally interventionist winemaking process. Yields are deliberately limited to promote concentration and the accuracy of aromas. Aging in old barrels or stainless steel tanks allows the full expression of each grape variety and terroir.

Wines of balance, precision, and emotion

The estate works with the great Jura grape varieties: Chardonnay, Savagnin, Trousseau, and Poulsard, in a style that is both pure, taut, and vibrant. The white wines stand out for their mineral freshness, elegance, and energy. The reds reveal finesse, depth, and authenticity. The estate also produces crémants, wines aged under a veil of yeast, macvin, and yellow wines, all strong signatures of the Jura identity.

An emerging signature of the Jura

Year after year, Domaine Grand establishes itself as one of the most promising estates in the Jura. Through sincere, precise, and unadulterated wines, it offers a contemporary interpretation of Jura terroirs while respecting local traditions. The estate appeals to both informed enthusiasts and lovers of great terroir wines.
