Domaine Bohrmann

Domaine Bohrmann

By dint of hard work and stubbornness, Sofie Bohrmann has made a famous name for herself in the Côte de Beaune. However, nothing was won for this Belgian whose family (and in particular her paternal Dieter) created the estate in 2002 by buying a handful of hectares on Meursault. Sofie, passionate about wines and vines, naturally and gradually takes over the reins of the Domaine, striving to develop a range of wines of great regularity in quality... All in organic and biodynamic cultivation (not certified).

The estate now has 12ha of vines, spread over the Côte de Beaune, in red and white. The vines are kept at the cordeau and Sofie strives to limit yields, ensuring concentration and aromatic balance for each vintage. The wines are then carefully aged in oak barrels, in respect of the purest Burgundian tradition. Bravo Sofie!
