Domaine Tenuta di Valgiano

Domaine Tenuta di Valgiano

The highly qualitative evolution of Tenuta di Valgiano in recent years is remarkable in every respect. North of Florence, in the south of Tuscany wine, a little-known but qualitative appellation is revealed: Lucchesi Hill. It was here that Laura di Collobiano settled in 1993. She quickly decided to cultivate the Sangiovese grape variety through practices

organic and biodynamic. The estate benefits from an exceptional terroir, at an altitude of 250m, on hills not far from the Mediterranean. Laura has set up a very high level of viticulture, in integral biodynamics. The wines have a lot of soul, depth and elegance. A unique definition of the Sangiovese grape variety, much less than the super Tuscan bodybuilt to excess.
