Domaine Marc Delienne

Marc Delienne is a wine enthusiast whose career began far from the vineyards, in Paris in the field of information technology. In his fifties, he decides to sell his business and pursue a career as a winemaker. An encounter then influences and drives him, that is with Eloi Durrbach (Trevallon), from whom he learns the art of winemaking. Following this, he starts looking for a vineyard to buy and comes across this estate located in Fleurie. In 2015, he purchases the 14 hectares and immediately begins work: complete conversion to biodynamic farming, soil work, and renovation of the winery. The wines are vinified without added sulfur, using carbonic maceration (whole-cluster fermentation), and are mostly aged in large oak vats. Natural wines, pure and free! Each cuvée displays a lot of character and a style clearly claimed by Marc. Bravo.
