Domaine Tempier

Domaine Tempier

Domaine Tempier is respectful and faithful to nature.
The land is listened to, interventions are done in tune with the seasons and the lunar calendar.
This fidelity to the pioneering spirit continues today, in the vineyards as well as in the cellar.
Around Jean-Philippe, seven people roam the estate's vineyards, working the soils mechanically and manually or maintaining the terraced walls.
Pruning and harvesting are done by hand, according to the moon's phases. Sheep act as weeders and bring life to the soils.

Regarding treatments, "homemade" herbal teas are sprayed in homeopathic doses to strengthen the vines, invigorate the soils, and limit the development of parasites. Sulfur is used against powdery mildew and Bordeaux mixture against downy mildew.

Worms, springtails, ladybugs, insects of all kinds... biodiversity is well present in the estate's soils.
