Maison A&S

One of the newest additions to the Burgundy landscape, but which has quickly made a name for itself thanks to the quality of its wines! Pierre-Alexandre Soltana and Alexandre Soares, after successful experiences in the vineyard and winery at beautiful estates on the Côte de Beaune, created this small wine merchant in 2018 dedicated to buying high-quality grapes, always from the same plots by building real relationships of trust with the owners. An approach focused on organic wines with few additives, low sulfur, and long and delicate aging in oak barrels. A respect for Burgundian tradition while bringing the concept of micro-cuvée. Grapes carefully sorted, destemmed or not depending on the vintages, vinified without sulfur, foot treading, gentle extraction, aging in barrels (very few new barrels), then bottled after at least one year.

The 3 flagship grape varieties of Burgundy are highlighted: Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Pinot Noir. Here, there are no grand appellations, but rather regional cuvées (Bourgogne Chardonnay, Bourgogne Aligoté) or village wines (Maranges rouge) produced with the care worthy of a great cru! The wines have a true identity and unique character: the whites are about balance, finesse, and delicacy, while the red wines are about the crispness, the juiciness of pinot noir combined with the elegance of pure and intense red and black fruit. A real favorite for this estate that is sure to continue growing in reputation with the acquisition of its first vineyard in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune.
