The Domaine Clusel-Roch is one of Côte Rotie's essential estates, both for its long family lineage and for the regularity in quality of the wines produced at the Domaine. The history of the estate begins in the 50s with René and Joséphine Clusel, first farmers, the Côte Rotie appellation having little value at the time.
It is thanks to the son Gilbert and his wife Brigitte Roch that the estate takes off in the 80s, thanks to a consequent work of clearing and planting: massal selection, highlighting the plot of land of the Grandes Places, tillage, new cellar .... all at the service of certified organic viticulture since the 2000s (in 2005, among the first in Côte Rotie).
Guillaume Clusel, Gilbert and Brigitte's son, has been working the family vineyards (18 ha) since 2009. A work in continuity of his parents for wines on finesse, elegance and a beautiful acidity that marks the balance of the Clusel-Roch paw ... Always a great pleasure to drink the family's wines, as their drinkability is so high!
