The history of the Clos des Fées is the perseverance of a man passionate about vines and wine, Hervé Bizeuil. Originally from Perpignan, he was for several years, sommelier and then wine journalist, before deciding, at the end of the 90s, to follow his instinct by vinifying his very first wine. After several experiments and with relentless conviction, he found the perfect place: Vingrau in Rousillon. Hervé Bizeuil carefully chooses the grape varieties he wants to plant on this demanding terroir with its poor soils. This is how heterogeneous cuvées with different grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Franc are born... This domain is now part of the elite of Roussillon. Hervé Bizeul frees himself from codes and trends, and offers his cuvées a separate identity and originality. As in the image of its creator, the wines of the Clos des Fées never leave indifferent.
