Domaine Bornard

Domaine Bornard

Philippe Bornard is a true enthusiast of vineyards and his region, particularly Pupillin in the Jura.
A historical place where Philippe Bornard began his winemaking journey in 1975, at the village cooperative.
It was only thirty years later that he decided, with his wife Annie, to create his own estate. The wines quickly became very successful and were often hard to find.
Today, his son Tony ensures the continuity, keeping the famous red fox as the emblem of the estate, while also expanding the business with wines under his own name (Tony Bornard).
The Domaine Bornard now covers 11 hectares, cultivating the five Jura grape varieties (Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Pinot Noir, Trousseau) as well as the rare and wonderful indigenous red-stemmed Melon from Jura, a delightful cousin of Chardonnay.
