Domaine Aline Beauné

Domaine Aline Beauné

Aline Beauné, although making her debut as a solo winemaker with the 2018 vintage, has considerable experience in the wine industry. For 15 years, she led the winemaking at Château de la Crée, a prestigious estate located in Santenay, near her own domain. In parallel to this established career, in 2018 Aline made the decision to take over the family vineyards that were previously operated as a farm lease. The opportunity arose when the 5-hectare lease of the family vineyards, previously operated by the Buxy cooperative, expired.

Aline Beauné's 5 hectares of vineyards are located in the town of Saint-Vallerin, and are divided as follows: 12.5% Aligoté, 25% Bourgogne Blanc, 50% Montagny Villages, and 12.5% Montagny 1er cru Chazelle. As soon as she took over these vineyards, Aline began their conversion to organic agriculture. This transition requires meticulous work both in the vineyards and in the winery. Aline ages her wines in Buxy, at the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, choosing a judicious balance between stainless steel tanks and oak barrels for aging.

Her rigorous approach is reflected in her wines, which are recognized for their elegance, purity, and precision. Each step of the process, from the organic cultivation of the vines to the careful aging in the cellar, aims to produce wines that perfectly capture the essence of the terroir and the winemaker's commitment to quality and sustainability. The Aline Beauné estate thus embodies the fusion of tradition and innovation, offering wines that captivate with their finesse and authentic expression of Burgundy.
