Located in Saint-Jean de Minervois, a village known for its production of Muscat à petit grain (hence the eponymous name), the Petit Grain distillery was born from the passion of a couple: Patricia and Laurent Gaspard. They were teachers in a previous life and have become flavor connoisseurs since! Inspired by the production process of Italian grappa, they launched their micro-distillery in 2012, distilling fruit brandies and gin. A true craftsmanship that significantly impacts the aromatic profile and expression of the spirits. For example, the gin has a unique identity, as it is associated with local fruits and citrus in several blends. The distillery offers a Gin Bigarades or a Citrus Gin. The intensity and aromatic purity of the distillery are unmatched in France. This is the result of distilling small volumes, carefully selected fruits and berries, and a long and meticulous artisanal process! It's worth noting that their gin was voted the best gin in France in 2018 by the prestigious Très Très Bon committee of the equally famous Francois-Régis Gaudry, among 200 artisanal distilleries.
