Distillerie du Petit Grain

Distillerie du Petit Grain

Located in Saint-Jean de Minervois, a village known for its production of Muscat à petit grain (hence the eponymous name), the distillerie du petit grain was born from the passion of a couple: Patricia and Laurent Gaspard. They were teachers in a first life, and have become flavor transmitters since! Inspired by the process of making Italian grappa, they launched their micro-distillery in 2012, distilling fruit and gin eaux-de-vie. A real know-how that is not trivial about the aromatic and expression of alcohols. For example, gin has a unique identity, since it is associated on several cuvées with local fruits and citrus fruits. Thus the distillery offers a Gin Bigarades or a Gin with Citrus fruits. The intensity and aromatic purity of the distillery have no equivalent in France. It is the result of a distillation of small volumes, handpicked fruits and berries, and a long and methodical process, all artisanal! Note that their gin was elected best gin of France in 2018 by the very serious Very Very Good committee of the no less famous Francois-Régis Gaudry, among 200 craft distilleries.
