Gilles Berlioz, a former landscape designer, started his wine adventure in 1990 with his wife Christine. Curious and humble, this passionate couple worked tirelessly to establish their Domaine among the best in Savoie. They obtained organic certification in 2002 and quickly embraced biodynamics. Their 6ha vineyard is located in Chignin, in the Beauges massif, on steep slopes at 300-400m altitude. The vines are cultivated by hand and with horses.
In 2016, Christine and Gilles changed the name of their estate to "Domaine Partagé," emphasizing the dimension of sharing, mutual assistance, and friendship that wine has provided for centuries. In the cellar, the grapes are gently and slowly pressed, then aged in various containers, especially concrete eggs. The wines display a lot of charm, drinkability, and joy of living. An ode to life, happiness in a glass!
