Magnum white Arbois Savagnin En Guille Bouton Ouillé 2022 Domaine Grand

This ouillé Savagnin from Domaine Grand, from the "En Guille-Bouton" plot in the Arbois AOC, embodies the pure and mineral elegance of contemporary Jura. Planted in 2016 on typical grey marls, the young Savagnin vines here express all their freshness, straightness, and aromatic finesse.

After completing alcoholic fermentation on fine lees, this wine was aged for 12 months in 350-liter barrels, without the formation of a veil, with regular ouillage. No fining, light filtration, and no sulfite correction during aging or bottling: the style is intentionally pure, respectful of the raw material and the terroir.

On the nose and palate, a vibrant, taut, delicately lemony wine is revealed, with a beautiful saline frame. It lends itself to unique pairings: canapés with cancoillotte cheese, chanterelle mushroom tarts, crispy asparagus, or smoked trout.
