Magnum Corton Grand Cru blanc - Domaine Chandon de Briailles
This magnum of Corton Grand Cru blanc 2018 from Domaine Chandon de Briailles is a very rare wine made from a tiny proportion of old Chardonnay vines planted on the eastern slope of the Corton hill, a terroir where mostly Pinot Noir is planted in the Corton Grand Cru appellation. This Corton Grand Cru blanc is built around an impressive concentration of yellow fruits (peach, apricot) and scents of white flowers, honey, and nutmeg. A deep and voluminous structure perfectly balanced by a sharp acidity. A truly great wine with significant aging potential (2022-2040). Another proof of the magic of the wines from Domaine Chandon de Briailles.
