This wine comes from one of the highest plots on the Hermitage hill, with a granite soil at the location called Les Bessards. The aroma is spectacular, with notes of raspberry, blackberry, licorice, spices, and floral nuances of great elegance. The volume in the mouth is impressive, with a rich and deep texture. The tannins surround this aromatic power with finesse and velvety smoothness. This Ermitage Le Pavillon 2011 is a very great wine that can still age gracefully for 20 years without any problem.
