Pierre-Olivier himself harvests this 100% Gamay with his team on a typical granite soil. Here, he selects perfectly ripe grapes from a renowned plot in Brouilly (named La Folie for its steep slope) after a strict and drastic sorting process, with the same care as his flagship cuvées (Corton, Nuits St Georges...). The result is a highly drinkable Brouilly, showcasing red fruits (raspberry, red currant), spices, and a nice smoky hint.

The aging process is carried out in oak barrels, in the Burgundy style. However, this wine is not lacking in structure and seriousness; it will age beautifully for about ten years. Perfectly ripe and carefully selected grapes are the reason behind the success of this new star from the Côte de Nuits!
