This Pommard 1er Cru "En Largillière" 2022 from the Domaine Dubuet-Boillot comes from the "En Largillière" climat, located on the alluvial fan of the Saint-Désiré mountain combe. The soil is composed of various limestones mixed with clay... Maxime Dubuet, a dynamic and talented young winemaker who recently took over the family vineyards in Volnay, offers a Pommard that is smooth and velvety. Forget the rustic and tannic version of Pommard, Maxime Dubuet delivers a devilishly digestible wine, with fine tannins and perfect balance. Black cherry, sweet spice, and aromatic herbs set the tone on the palate, all framed by a velvety fruit of blackberry, raspberry, and peony. A superb Pommard that is already ready to drink!
