Triennes, where Burgundy meets the Mediterranean!
Jéroboam IGP Méditerranée Saint-Auguste 2019, Triennes
A prestigious estate born from the friendship of two great Burgundy winemakers: Aubert de Villaine (Romanée Conti) and Jacques Seysses (Domaine Dujac). This project was initiated in 1980, with both winemakers convinced of the potential of the Triennes terroir to produce great wines. Located in the Var region on a hillside backed by the Aurélien mountains in Nans-les-Pins, 30 km from the Mediterranean, this vineyard, situated between sea and mountain, benefits from an ideal microclimate, facing due south at an altitude of 300m.
This jéroboam of IGP Méditerranée red wine from the Saint-Auguste cuvée is a Provencal wine that perfectly combines complexity with simplicity. This Triennes red wine 2019 is the result of blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot to create a wine that is fresh and delicate.
