Magnum White Wine VDF Mustango 2023 La Nouvelle Donne

The 2023 Mustango Blanc from Domaine La Nouvelle Donne is an exceptional cuvée produced from organic viticulture that respects the soil and natural balance. This wine is made from young vines of Grenache blanc and gris, planted in 2013 on the north-facing slope of Clot de l’Olby, a cool terroir in Roussillon.

Harvested by hand in small crates to preserve their integrity, the grapes undergo direct pressing before fermenting spontaneously in new barrels. A year of aging without stirring refines its structure and aromatic expression. Bottled without fining or filtration, with a slight addition of sulfur (2.5 g/hl), this wine reveals a precise balance between sweetness and acidity.

On the nose, the 2023 Mustango Blanc reveals elegant smoky notes, combining toasted bread and grilled sesame. The palate, with great complexity and remarkable length, finishes with a salty, iodine note and a flinty minerality.

Thanks to its structure and deep aromatic profile, this wine pairs perfectly with:

• Washed-rind cheeses like Munster or Époisses

Ideal serving temperature: 10 to 12°C
