This magnum of Chorey Les Beaune red 2021 from Joseph Drouhin is, with each vintage, a superb value for money proposed by the Drouhin family and its talented winemaker, Véronique Drouhin. She brings the same care and quality requirement to all the designations, from village to grand cru. This is the case here for this red Chorey Les Beaune, a village located not far from Beaune, at the foot of the Corton hill. A very pleasant and indulgent Pinot Noir from its early years. It offers ripe and precise fruit notes of blackberry, raspberry, redcurrant, cherry, plum, and game. The tannins are perfectly integrated, and the whole delivers a lot of pleasure. It can be enjoyed right away with a charcuterie platter or aged for up to 6 years.
