This magnum of Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Les Petits Clos 2022 from Domaine Bachey-Legros is the jewel of the Bachey-Legros family, led by the brothers Samuel and Lenaic, representing the 6th generation. Operating since 1998, this vineyard of very old Chardonnay vines, planted in 1950, benefits from an exceptional terroir of red clay-limestone soils. These deeply rooted vines give the wine a roundness characteristic of great whites, balanced by an elegant mineral structure. Aged on lees for fourteen months, this Chassagne-Montrachet reveals in its youth notes of flowers, yellow fruits, and citrus, offering breadth and a beautiful length on the palate. Its aging is remarkable, taking on a golden hue and gaining in volume and substance. A prestigious gem to be reserved for special occasions!
