Domaine Klein Constantia

Mythical estate in the South African vineyard, Klein Constancia extends over an exceptional site, on the heights of the Constantiaberg hills, overlooking the Constance Valley and False Bay south of Cape Town.

The estate dates back to 1685 thanks to the governor of the Cape at the time, Simon Van der Stel. From that time, this exceptional site with decomposed granite soil on ideally located slopes gently cooled by sea breezes.

The flagship wine of the estate, the mythical Vin de Constance, is a sweet wine made from the Muscat grape variety. This grape variety flourishes wonderfully on this terroir and unique climate, optimizing a high level of grape maturity while maintaining a precise acidity.
