The color of this Beaujolais-Villages is an intense dark garnet with shiny reflections. The nose is complex, expressive, and very enticing, with aromas of red fruits such as raspberry jam, as well as notes of black fruits like blackberry and blackcurrant. Upon aeration, other aromas are revealed: black cherry and cherry pits harmoniously blend with a subtle hint of menthol.

On the palate, this wine is rich and perfectly matches the aromas perceived on the nose. The tannins are smooth and enveloped, offering a silky texture. The finish is fresh, leaving a hint of licorice in the mouth. This wine would ideally be paired with a noble marriage of veal sweetbreads in a rich jus and caramelized onions.
