After a cool and rainy spring, the summer turned out to be dry and hot, with a peak of heat at the end of August, followed by a period of dry and sunny harvest that ensured optimal grape ripening.

This exceptional champagne takes advantage of these ideal conditions. The Pinot Noirs, in particular, shone in 2016, offering an intensity of yellow and tangy fruits, as well as a silky texture. The Chardonnays are also impressive, with their classic, precise, and slightly salty character.

The harvest, which took place from September 15 to October 1, 2016, resulted in the blending of Collection 241. It highlights the richness of the Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims, characterized by aromas of yellow and tangy fruits, with slightly toasted, salty, and iodized notes. In the mouth, this champagne offers a distinctive structure, both round, juicy, and with a great limestone, mineral, and saline freshness. Its profile is straight, fine, tapered, and refreshing.

Origins: This champagne is the result of a balanced blend of grapes from three distinct origins: the "La Rivière" vineyard, the "La Montagne" vineyard, and the "La Côte" vineyard. The grapes from these areas are complemented by those from selected "Heart of Terroir" plots from partner winegrowers.
