Located along the Cloux stream between Meursault and Auxey Duresses, Moulin aux Moines is a magical place frozen in time. The estate was taken over in 2008 by the Andrieu family, who entrusted the management of the estate to the talented Willy Roulendes. Thanks to meticulous organic work in the vineyard, low-sulfur vinifications, and aging with minimal oak influence, Willy offers us enticing wines with great deliciousness.

This red wine Magnum reveals a captivating aromatic complexity. On the nose, delicate aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry, raspberry, and floral notes intermingle harmoniously. On the palate, its velvety texture unveils elegant flavors of black fruits, licorice, undergrowth, and subtle spices. Silky tannins and a beautiful structure bring balance and length to this exceptional wine.

This 2020 Old Vines organic Monopole is ideal to accompany refined meat dishes such as roasted duck, grilled beef fillet, or lamb chops. It also pairs wonderfully with aged cheeses like Epoisses or Cîteaux. Serve it at a temperature of 16-18°C to fully appreciate all its aromatic subtleties.
