This magnum of Puligny-Montrachet "Les Grands Champs" 2019 from Domaine Bohrmann comes from the "Les Grands Champs" climate, a plot of Puligny classified as "village" and ideally located below the 1er Cru Clavaillon. Sofie Bohrmann cultivates fifty-year-old Chardonnay vines there. This cuvée, aged for 12 months in oak barrels, is one of Sofie's favorite wines. The terroir of Puligny-Montrachet and its predominantly limestone soils wonderfully express the quintessence of Chardonnay, with intense notes of lemon, grapefruit, and mandarin. A great white wine from Puligny that we love!
