This mythical Domaine in Alsace has found a new lease on life with the arrival of André Ostertag's son (pioneer of the Domaine's style), Arthur, in 2018 - his first vintage on his own. After a stint at Domaine des Comtes Lafon in Meursault, he refined and intensified the approach instilled by his father. The result of twenty years of biodynamic vineyard work, complemented by precise and pure winemaking.

This Magnum of Pinot Noir Fronholz, red wine from Domaine Ostertag, is the embodiment of Alsatian Pinot Noir at its finest, showcasing finesse and minerality while also possessing volume and structure. Its aromas of peony, tangy red fruits blend with notes of eucalyptus, thyme... a very pleasant floral touch. An airy wine with fine tannins framed by quality oak that adds depth (one year aging in barrels of multiple wines).

For what occasion? Perfect for an aperitif with a charcuterie board, a pâté lorrain, or a flammekueche.
