This magnum of Saint-Romain white wine Sous la Velle 2020 from Domaine Henri & Gilles Buisson is a flagship cuvée of the Buisson brothers. Frédérick and Franck are the most renowned representatives of the Saint-Romain appellation, a magnificent village perched on the heights south of the Côte de Beaune. Certified in Biodynamics since 2018, the two brothers strive to harvest perfectly balanced grapes, benefiting their wines.

This Saint Romain white wine Sous la Velle 2020 beautifully reflects this very precise work in the vineyard. This 2020 (from the "sous la velle" climat) displays a magnificent balance, with a precise mineral character and aromatic purity of the Chardonnay. This natural freshness is enhanced by the superb 2020 vintage, bringing concentration and length, with notes of honeysuckle, wild mint, citrus, and lemongrass. The refined aging on fine lees adds delicious notes of brioche, almonds, and hazelnuts.
