This magnum of Viré-Clessé white wine Quintaine 2021 from Domaine Guillemot Michel is the flagship wine of the Domaine (this cuvée has existed since 1985!), the one that has made and continues to make the reputation of the Domaine among true wine lovers worldwide. The grapes are harvested at very good ripeness and then vinified in concrete tanks, without the addition of woody notes. The result is a floral Chardonnay, with notes of white flowers, hawthorn, and acacia. This wine is all about harmony, oscillating between flowers and white fruits (vineyard peaches), all supported by a saline acidity and mouth-watering dry extracts. This 2021 vintage has a beautiful mineral and gourmet structure, with white fruits, citrus fruits, and hawthorn. A very fine bottle that will delight everyone!
