This magnum of Château Palmer 2017 from Château Palmer is the flagship of the Château, classified as a 3rd Growth in the 1855 classification. The flagship wine of the Château comes from the finest terroirs and oldest vines on the property. This 2017 vintage is a blend of 54% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Petit Verdot. A truly impressive, concentrated, and intense wine, showing notes of blackberries, blackcurrant, plums, cedar, violet, dark chocolate, and sandalwood. The palate is vibrant, with fine and ripe tannins, luscious black fruits, all leading to an endless finish. A great wine that will benefit from 2-3 years to fully reveal its fantastic potential.
