This Magnum of Riesling Grand Cru Muenchberg 2021 from the Ostertag estate is a monument and by far the most sought-after vintage of the Ostertag Estate. Coming from vines over 40 years old planted on volcanic sediments, this Riesling is marked by the perfect ripeness of its fruit combined with the spicy and mineral touch of its terroir. The wine explodes with roundness on yellow fruits (apricot, mirabelle) without ever losing its precise character. A fascinating Grand Cru, both dense and elegant, with an endless, salivating, and intense finish.
