Magnum Octavie AOP Vin de Savoie

This magnum of AOP Vin de Savoie "Octavie" 2021 from Adrien Berlioz is the result of a native grape variety from Savoie that Adrien Berlioz carefully cultivates: the Persan. A grape variety close to Mondeuse, providing in addition a liveliness of red fruits and sharp tannins. This Octavie cuvée evokes sloe, with very beautiful bitters that harmonize with forest berries: blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry... A true coulis of tangy red fruits that glides in the mouth with a straight, delineated and juicy texture. The slightly spicy finish is appreciated, inviting to another glass... This AOP Vin de Savoie "Octavie" 2021 from Adrien Berlioz is a very nice representation of this forgotten grape variety from Savoie, the Persan.
