This magnum of Pic Saint Loup Grand Cuvée from Domaine de l'Hortus is the iconic wine of the estate, sourced from the highest quality plots, whose soil and exposure help maintain good water reserves with grapes at optimal maturity (mourvèdre, grenache, syrah).

The Orliac family ages this Grand Cuvée for 12 months in oak barrels. The result is a wine of great depth, power, and intensity, yet balanced, with the natural acidity being naturally preserved thanks to this exceptional terroir. Aromas of blackberries, black cherries, licorice, along with hints of the scrubland and black olives, create an enchanting and silky wine with a mouthfeel promising excellent aging potential.
