This magnum of Hermitage Monier de la Sizeranne 2017 from Michel Chapoutier is an iconic cuvée from the house, very representative of Chapoutier's style. It is a blend of different terroirs from the hillside: Bessard, Méal, and Greffieux. A great Hermitage aged for 18 months in oak barrels. The nose is impressively powerful, with notes of blackcurrant and red fruits. This is a voluminous and concentrated wine, with a density that promises great aging potential, at least until 2040!
